A native of Atlantic City, New Jersey, Ian toured the eastern US as a drummer in various punk rock bands in his youth. His last short film, SAFE, premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and was acquired by Criterion Channel. He was recently named a Vimeo Breakout Creator and is represented by Jacob Snyder (Range Media) and Elias Scangas (Entertainment 360). He currently lives in New York City, where he’s developing his first feature film.
